Enjoying at the Coast

Boulevard and Promenade
Along the coast of The Hague lies the expansive beach of Scheveningen. Parallel to the beach are the Scheveningen Boulevard and the Promenade, which are ideal for a walk and offer various restaurants with a view of the North Sea.

The Pier
From here, you can also see the Scheveningen Pier, where various restaurants, shops, and attractions can be found. There is a panoramic viewpoint, a Ferris wheel, and it is even possible to bungee jump!

Nightlife
In addition to daytime entertainment, there is plenty to do in the evening in Scheveningen. The Zwarte Pad is known for its vibrant nightlife with beach clubs and bars. Especially in the summer, there are many parties and events.

Attractions
There are plenty of things to do around Scheveningen beach. Right on the beach is the Beelden aan Zee museum, which exclusively exhibits sculptures.  You can also visit Panorama Mesdag, which depicts Scheveningen as it was in 1881. LEGOLAND® is a great place to take the kids. You can also enjoy a night out at the AFAS Circustheater or Holland Casino!

Surfing
Make the visit to the beach even more special! In various places in Scheveningen, it is possible to take surfing lessons.

Water Sports
Other water sports can also be practiced in Scheveningen, such as paddleboarding, sailing, and kitesurfing!
