Are you staying at Van der Valk hotel Den Haag - Wassenaar and bringing bikes? That's no problem at all. We have a secure, covered bike storage behind the hotel.

For electric bikes, sockets and extension cords are available so you can charge your bike overnight to explore the beautiful surroundings without any issues during your stay with us.

Rent a Bike or E-bike

  • Bikes can be rented from € 19.00 per day

  • Electric bikes can be rented for € 31.50 per day

Bite and Bike

Have you booked the Bite and Bike package? Then you can easily rent a bike for the above prices at the hotel! What do you need to bring?

  • A valid ID

  • Deposit of € 25 for a regular bike or € 50 for an electric bike

Thanks to our location, you can easily explore the bustling city of The Hague, the green Wassenaar, and the beautiful coast of Scheveningen and Wassenaar by bike. Don't forget the beautiful Meijendel, where you can see forest, beach, dunes, and water features. Or the lively Leiden, which you can reach via a beautiful nature path. In short: Hotel Den Haag - Wassenaar is your ideal base for a stay at the coast and close to the city.

Of course, we have plenty of tips on where you can go. In collaboration with Fietsnetwerk, we have compiled a number of great cycling routes for you. All routes start from our hotel (junction 58). Ranging from 22 km to 53 km; there is something for everyone! Our recommendations for nice cycling routes can be viewed here .

We are a hospitable advantage point of the ANWB. You can also plan cycling routes of your choice via ANWB. Start and end at junction 58 and determine your own route.
