Storing a Bicycle

Are you staying at Van der Valk hotel Den Haag – Wassenaar and bringing bicycles with you? That's no problem at all. We have a secure, covered bicycle shed behind the hotel.

For electric bicycles, sockets and extension cords are available to charge your bike overnight, allowing you to explore the beautiful surroundings effortlessly during your stay with us.

• Bicycles are available for rent from € 17.50 per day

• Electric bicycles can be rented for € 29.50 per day

Happen en Trappen

Have you booked the Happen en Trappen package? Then you can easily rent a bike for the prices mentioned above at the hotel! What do you need to bring?

• A valid ID

• Deposit of € 25 for a regular bike or € 50 for an electric bike

Already found a nice bike route?

Thanks to our location, you can easily explore the vibrant city of The Hague, the green Wassenaar, and the beautiful coast of Scheveningen and Wassenaar by bike. Don't forget the beautiful Meijendel, where forest, beach, dunes, and water features can be seen. Or the lively Leiden, which you can reach via a beautiful nature path.

We of course have all sorts of tips on where you can go. In collaboration with Fietsnetwerk, we have set up several fun cycling routes for you. All routes start from our hotel (junction 58). Ranging from 22 km to 53 km; there’s something for everyone! Our recommendations for fun cycling routes can be viewed here .

We are a hospitable ANWB plus point. You can also plan cycling routes of your choice via ANWB. Start and finish at junction 58 and determine your own route.
