Make your visit to the beach even more special! At several places it is possible to take (kite)surfing lessons. Scheveningen has a specific beach location where the waves travel a long distance to the shore, making it an ideal surfing spot.

Fancy a wild ride? With an inflatable banana behind a speedboat, you will definitely succeed. Whether you are with the family or friends, a banana ride will have you screaming and laughing!

Something different? In the Hague region, you can take a trip across the North Sea on a powerboat.

Canal cruise and private open boat
Feeling a little less sporty, but want to get out on the water? In The Hague and Scheveningen and Leiden, it is possible to take a canal cruise or hire a private open boat, called a 'sloep' in Dutch.

Tiki Pool Duinrell
No nice weather today? At Duinrell and the Tiki Pool in Wassenaar, adults and kids are sure to have fun! The tropical pool has more than 1.5 kilometres of slides. If the weather is nice, the outdoor section is also open.

Valkenburgse Meer is a recreational area where you can swim in summer. There is a playground and plenty of seating, ideal with the kids!
