At Van der Valk Hotel The Hague - Wassenaar, we work daily on making our business operations more sustainable. An important part of this is generating our own green energy. Therefore, we have installed 380 solar panels on the roof of our hotel.

With this investment, we are taking an important step towards lower CO₂ emissions and a more sustainable future for our guests, employees, and environment.

Green electricity from solar energy

The 380 solar panels convert sunlight into sustainable electricity that is used directly within the hotel. This way, we supply part of our daily energy needs with self-generated green electricity.

Thanks to solar energy, we are less dependent on traditional energy sources and actively contribute to the energy transition. Every sunny day helps us further reduce our impact on the environment.
