Duivenvoorde is a state-protected courtyard with a stately castle in the form of an ommounted nobleman house and has a total of 23 complexes. It is located in the Duivenvoorde corridor under Voorschoten. It is one of the older castles of South Holland and is already mentioned in 1226.
